VERY close competition. Really close.
Nice black glass arrowhead. Beautiful star inlay.
Thought the blue wood button didn't represent a "chevron" and felt
the chevron was
not a stand alone pattern and only series of connected segments of a 'star'
design
variation so it missed out on that additional point. "Interlacement"
was repeated.
You had more materials than the winner. This made it very nearly a tie.
It really could've been a different decision with another set judges.
Both judges ultimately agreed about the winner, but for different reasons!
Basically it came down to the variety and differences in the patterns
which was the focus of the award.
Labeling the sizes to verify the "various" requirement would have
been
helpful since we cannot physically measure. We had to assume that
everyone has the correct number of 6, 6, 6 and 7.

You studied this call very hard. Good representation of each subclass.
Especially liked the spiral and Greek key.
MAJOR B.O.D. was given after consulting a 'pattern expert'
for the button labeled "Foldover". Another judge might have measled
it.
This pattern is not officially recognized in the CURRENT classification book.
Since recent handouts and presentations have been showing this pattern as
a sub-sub
class of a 'turn again' pattern it was reluctantly accepted. Additionally,
"foldover' is a repeat of the 'turn again' class so you missed out on
an extra pattern point.
Questionable: Wallpaper. Does the flower pattern actually repeat?
Look to replace some of the thermoplastics with other materials.

Note: TY for putting the patterns in numerical order! Helpful to count.
